Plano paves the way for their students with Slooh's hands-on Earth and space science, inspiring them to learn like real scientists and empowering them to pursue careers in the expanding space industry!
"I love that our teachers have embraced Slooh’s online telescopes, bringing astronomy to life for students in a hands-on, interactive way in the classroom. By integrating Slooh into our curriculum, students are now able to explore space in real time, enhancing their understanding of the cosmos through direct observation and analysis."
-Dr. Ashley Carter, District Science Coordinator

Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is a public school district located in Plano, Texas, serving a diverse student population from elementary to high school. Plano ISD consistently ranks among the top districts in the state of Texas with a focus on excellence in academics, extracurriculars, and technology integration.

This year Plano has implemented a district-wide adoption of Slooh. This aligns with the district's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology and expanding educational opportunities in STEAM fields. The students of Plano ISD have taken off with Slooh, already are all over our global student leaderboard. Don Walker, the high school astronomy teacher at Plano East High School describes how Slooh has enhanced his course and really brought astronomy to life for his students.

"The Slooh program has proven to be an invaluable resource for engaging my students in authentic astronomy experiences. My kids especially love that they can view and capture images of celestial objects using live telescopes. Not only are they able to explore and interact with the assigned content but they are also able to complete their own quests and schedule their own missions. This has helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application."

Clarissa Randle, pictured on the left above, is a senior at East Plano HS and ranked #4 on our student Gravity Point Leaderboard. As she states below, she #livelaughlovesslooh!

"Slooh offers an educational and enjoyable way to explore astronomy. The extensive array of quests and access to telescopes gives users great flexibility in choosing what they wish to learn. After completing one quest, you'll feel eager to jump into the next one! Without it, my interest in learning more about our universe wouldn't be as strong as it is today. livelaughloveslooh!"
-Clarissa Randle, 4th Period Astronomy Student, Plano East

We can't wait to see what Don Walker and his students continue to do on Slooh as the year goes on. Additionally, we look forward to Slooh's expanding in Plano, particularly in Middle School for Earth Science.

This is so cool! Plano ISD giving students hands-on access to real telescopes is truly inspiring. It's awesome how they're empowering kids for future space careers. Speaking of strategy and advancing, it reminds me a bit of the planning you need in games like age of war to conquer new territories!

This is fantastic! I remember being so bored with textbooks in science class. Actual observation would have been amazing. It's great that Plano is offering this. If students really enjoy visually exploring space like this, maybe they'd also get a kick out of something a little less academic and more fun, like the game Eggy Car, to foster that continued interest in exploration and discovery!

I used to spend my evenings watching random videos or scrolling endlessly through social media, but I recently decided to try something more interactive. I came across a thread discussing different digital platforms for entertainment and curiosity got the better of me. That’s when I clicked on SpinBet Casino — and everything changed. The sleek interface, smooth functionality, and the wide range of activities quickly turned what was just a test run into a nightly routine. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t overwhelm you but keeps your attention right where it needs to be. No annoying pop-ups or forced tutorials—just pure streamlined enjoyment.
