Slooh's telescopes are located in the Canary Islands, Chile, and Australia allowing for coverage of both hemisphers. You can check which telescopes are online by clicking on the telescopes tab to see the status. If a telescope is offline, clicking on the name will take you to the Telescope page where you can check when it will open and the weather at the site.
Slooh members earn Gravity Points for a variety of actions on the app. You earn GP by:

Teachers and students are both greeted with a short series of introductory 1-2 minute videos when they first log in to the platform that is intended to get them started exploring right away. Students need to be invited to the platform by their teacher. For larger implementations, we encourage live product training as well. One introductory virtual webinar will generally take about an hour.
There are two ways to obtain licenses for university and college students. Colleges and Universities can pay for student licenses, the cost is on a per-student basis and payment is made directly to Slooh. Alternatively, Slooh can be purchased directly by students, similar to a lab fee. Instructors/Professors will be provided with directions and special payment codes to pass along to students to utilize to pay for access to Slooh.
No, institutions would need to purchase additional licenses for new students if no licenses are available, or students would need to purchase their own license.
